Boston Digital is seeking a Back-End Developer to join our growing Development Team! You'll be responsible for the development of websites for a variety of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Architect strategies around implementing Drupal CMS
  • Solid understanding of Drupal, PHP, and Composer
  • Development of websites for various devices (desktop and mobile)
  • Integrations with external systems and custom APIs
  • Drupal configuration management
  • Drupal PHP templating and theme preprocessing
  • Drupal module development
  • Use JavaScript and JavaScript libraries to build interactive experiences
  • Work with team to scope and estimate potential features or projects
  • Understand, apply, and promote development standards and best practices
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Information Systems, Development, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 3 years developing in Drupal and other open source technologies
  • Successful development of different Drupal 7 websites
  • Expert in PHP, the Drupal API, and custom module development
  • Fluency with GIT and branching strategies
  • Ability to debug and find problems within existing systems
  • Working as part of a development team in a professional setting Preferred:
    • Previous agency experience
    • Development of Drupal 8 websites • Acquia certification
