Boston Digital is looking for a .NET Developer as we shift from traditional .NET web forms development into .NET Core MVC. Our continued success has created the need for a .NET developer to join our growing team to ensure the successful, profitable delivery of projects and highest-level of service to our project teams and clients. Responsibilities
● Develop highly interactive, dynamic, scalable web sites and web applications
● Work with a team of .NET developers to successfully deliver projects that meet client satisfaction, budget, and work quality targets
● Work with team members in solving technology issues on projects
● Work with.NET based CMS systems (Kentico, Sitecore)
● Design and develop custom applications to support a variety of web initiatives
● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
● Build custom user controls to achieve project requirements
● Build and extend relational databases and associated objects to support applications
● Participate in weekly development team meetings and agency resource planning meetings
● Participate in presales efforts, such as prospect presentations and project estimating, as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
● Bachelor's Degree (Computer Information Systems, Development, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience
● A minimum of three years of web development experience
● Strong knowledge of the .NET framework and HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
● Proficient in C#; familiarity with MVC
● Required - experience with .NET content management systems including Sitecore and Kentico
● Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
● Experience writing web user controls
● Experience writing and consuming web services
● Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong problem-solving skills
